Toy Shopping!!!

Akihabara is renowned for it's toy shops and comic shops. The main street was literally lined with Anime, not just in the shops but also in huge posters and billboards on the buildings. These weren't just any old action figures, these were shops for adults with money to spend - many of the manga figures were upwards of £100 and that was the norm!

We browsed various shops, amazed by the variety and detail of the characters, not to be too enthusiastic about a bunch of dolls, but they were absolutely awesome! Some of them were a bit geeky, think World of Warcraft and you'll know what we mean... On the other hand, some were more of the erotic variety (amazingly well equipped, personality abounding) - it's amazing what some people are in to...

We hadn't intended to but we ended up buying loads of toys - two big kids in a toy shop!! (not the £100 or the naughty variety though!). We may let our closest friends play with them when we get home...
